Balcony Stucco Repair Project
We have discovered, in a few specific units, that the joint sealant between the balcony floor and outer balcony wall below the railing has deteriorated to the point that water intrusion is damaging the stucco above the balcony in the unit below. The HOA will be reaching out to a few contractors to schedule a day to inspect the damages so that they can provide bids to repair the damages. We would like to make this bid comprehensive and include as many units with damages, as possible.
If you have noticed cracking or staining in the stucco above your balcony, or in the outer balcony wall, please email sespinoza@menas.com and CC: robertcitrano@gmail.com by Friday, April 22, 2022 and provide a day/time when the HOA can view the damages to determine if repairs are warranted to be accomplished with the larger contract. Make sure you provide specific contact information and how access into your unit will be provided to inspect your balcony.
In early May, the HOA will be coordinating with contractors to obtain bids for the repairs. They will also need access to the balconies at that time. We appreciate your cooperation.
