Lobby Package Safety......pass the word

A few things…

1. I want to thank everyone for keeping our front street double doors shut. I have not found them open recently, so I think we are doing a better job at that.

2. I personally try to hand deliver any packages I find that are for neighbors in my building (assuming time, size, weight, etc. are not a factor), and I ring the bell and wait a little, so if they are home I know the packages make it safely inside the unit. I am not trying to be a saint.....just a courteous neighbor.

3. And the reason for this missive: I have started piling all packages in the lobby by the table. I have access to our camera video system and realized it does not have a good view right inside the lobby where we have been stacking them (by the double doors leading out to the pool). The lobby camera does have a good view of the majority of the rest of the lobby. "I WOULD LIKE EVERYONE TO START DOING THAT."

It doesn't mean packages won't still get stolen out of the lobby, but it will give us a shot at seeing who the reprobates are, and JUST MAYBE recognizing someone.

THANKS,
BILL MARSH
