Sad News About Fernando - Bay Scene Housekeeper

It is with great sadness and concern that I share this news with all Bay Scene owners and renters. 

As many of you know, Fernando C. is employed by BRM, our cleaning company, and is usually on site Monday thru Friday. He does a magnificent job cleaning throughout Bay Scene including vacuuming, dusting, mopping, and keeping our facilities disinfected to the max. This includes cleaning of the common areas each and every day to ensure the residents here are able to stay safe from Covid-19 from a physical common perspective.

Unfortunately, he was involved in a serious bicycle accident a few days ago and is in critical condition in the ICU/Trauma Center at Scripps La Jolla. We do not and will not be able to obtain any updates on his condition and he of course isn’t allowed any visitors. His family resides in Mexico and is not able to cross the border. He is a legal worker in the United States.

 A GoFundMe account has been established to assist him and his family at this time of need. Many individuals are donating and I am hoping you all may find it in your heart not just to donate but to also send prayers for his recovery based on whatever higher power you acknowledge or believe in.

While no bicycle accident is ever good, and being in the hospital is never fun, having one specifically this year and especially with all the suffering going on in this city, county, and the world, now is the time to unite to help someone who is in our sphere and someone with whom we can make a difference so his family doesn’t suffer financially any more than they already may be.
